The Project

Career Game is an interactive mobile application designed to help students and young people discover and prepare for their future careers through a life-simulation gaming experience. The game guides users through different stages of life including childhood, teenage years, high school, college, professional life, and old age, helping them make educational and career-related decisions at each stage. Through personalized choices, skill development, and scenario-based learning, the platform predicts possible future outcomes and highlights the strengths and qualities users may develop over time. The system promotes career awareness, personal growth, and long-term planning in an engaging and educational way.

The Challenge

The core challenge was designing game mechanics that accurately reflected real career demands without feeling like a disguised aptitude test. Korean students and parents are acutely aware of career pressure — the platform had to feel genuinely playful while still being trusted by educators as a serious career tool.
